For stronger stations, both the PL-680 and the SW7600GR are about equal in nature, with the PL-680 only sounding better thanks to its improved speaker. However, on weaker frequencies, the PL-680 is simply able to pull out more from the noise. It genuinely seems more sensitive, at least to some degree, than my SW7600GR.

The Tecsun PL-660 is not a half good receiver; rather, it is a good half receiver. The better half is the super FM sensitivity and excellent speaker reproduction. The small size and price are in the much above average department. Memories galore and the ergonomics are very impressive. SSB and BFO work great.

The PL-310 is a sensitive receiver. The DSP controlled 5 bandwidths is an interesting option. 6, 4 & 3kHz are usable on AM. The 2 and 1kHz is really too narrow for any AM signal. The receiver is a dual conversion design that controls images. A nice feature in such a small receiver.
